Answer 16  is to guess grave #20 (coming from 35) based on:

  • The Knight's Tomb has no other information, other than the name, label, and structure.
  • This is intended to lead players to believe the name has an underlying meaning
  • This one takes some surface knowledge of chess, to know the moves of the knight.
  • Its position in the corner makes it to where only two moves are possible, and one spot has already been visited.

Design Choices: I wanted to make one family tomb, although I realize now that it might be more accurate to call it a mausoleum. When researching grave types, there are the really (almost small, personal sized) house-like enclosures for some burials, bur there are large family ones too. Grandiose in size or design, this type of structure denotes status and wealth.

Level of success/other graves that were guessed: The Knight portion makes people think of night, and consider graves 15 (two figures raising in to night sky), 18 (umbrella man, speaks of night), or they have connected to the king in card 27.

Changes/Issues/play test reports: Folks have had some issues with this one. A potential change would be to change the headstone to involve a horse statue, or to put one one the mausoleum. I'll give it a few more play tests to see how things go.
