Answer 1 is to guess grave #5 based on the map and setup instructions.

Rationales why and exclusions of other choices: The setup instructions use the line of “Using the map, you walk towards a nearby grave. A spark of memory happens when you approach it." It might not be the first grave you see, but seeing that it is your grave is the circled one on the map is supposed to be a very strong and straightforward signal.

Design Choices: This starting point serves several purposes:

• It orients the player. Like the 'you are here' point on a map at the mall or zoo. It also further's the player's place in the story.
• It introduces the player to using the map for clues.
• Once you flip over card #5, you are introduced to reverses of cards, and how they can help you decide on your next guess.

Intended Puzzle Design:  Straightforward- Read the rules to make the first guess. 

Level of success/other graves that were guessed: No problems reported.

Changes/Issues/play test reports: For one of the puzzles further in, my wife told me the stick and (what are supposed to be stones) creating the arrow on the reverse could be confused with the rose stem and petals. To me, that is just my sub par art!
