Hello,

This is my second dev log that concentrates on the creation process of a game.

The working title is 'The Square Roots of Time' . It's a solo game, with very few cards, Ala-Button Shy games. Maybe I'll make it to a submission!

It is also my second game that involves a real-time clock as a driving mechanism.

Current Game Plan:

If there is a story mode; You are going through a time travel machine. Reach a certain score to travel through time, to the correct timeline. Outcome of the story depends on the score/time of each game.

  • Single Player
  • Goal: High Score
  • Time and game modes - 30 minute, 1 hour, or play until deck is played out?
  • Synopsis- 24 cards in deck. 3-4 cards in hand?
  • Play cards on each other, covering X amount of clock positions. Score accordingly.
  • Certain clock positions will have color coded positions, denoting better scoring.
  • If you play the card at the time indicated by a clock, you receive a score multiplier
  • Cards cannot cross over one another, aside from the last card played..
  • Cards that are played can cover one cardinal node and can cover up to three? secondary nodes.
